As a seasoned software engineer and systems architect, I have over 21 years of diverse commercial experience under my belt. I have performed all of the full project lifecycle roles many times, from requirements gathering, systems analysis, design, development, integration, testing and QA, through to deployment, training and documentation. My current expertise is in the design and development of business systems using Microsoft .NET and BizTalk Server 2006.

• The architecting and development of rich client applications using the .NET framework and C#, and using smart client deployment and updating of these applications over the Internet
• Requirements analysis and design of BizTalk-based enterprise systems, with an emphasis on reliability and effective monitoring of trading partner document exchanges
• Using BizTalk Server to integrate ERP systems and custom databases with X12, EDI and XML-based data sources
• HIPAA and HL7 document translation, processing, routing, and legacy system integration using BizTalk Server
• RosettaNet implementations using BizTalk Server, including back-end ERP system integration
• Custom commercial solution analysis, design and development, including enterprise database planning and architecture
• Business systems integration, emphasizing document exchange, translation, and routing
• Development of mobile geographic mapping and routing solutions, including GPS interfacing
• Custom web portal development, including secure corporate document distribution
• Full lifecycle application development using the .NET platform, C#, web services, and SQL Server
• Design and development of specialized client applications based on Microsoft Office 2003/XP with a SQL Server backend

My core technology competency is the set of Microsoft .NET Enterprise Servers, especially SQL Server 2000/2005 and BizTalk Server 2004/2006. I have designed and implemented many large-scale commercial databases using SQL Server, and have recently completed some very successful business systems integration projects using BizTalk Server (details are in the resume).
